Most AI products for business start the same way. You sign up, and they hand you a box.

Get past the box, and they ask you to connect your tools.

If you do not use any of these, you’re stuck. Let’s say you can connect, then you sit there with the question the product never answers: how is any of this useful?
It tries. It offers to send you a daily brief of your inbox. But why would I want a summary of email I can already read? Then you add the CRM, and assume that when a lead emails you, it updates itself. It does not. The two connections know nothing about each other.
What is missing is a layer.
People call it different things. A brain. Memory. Context. A knowledge graph. The name does not matter. What matters is that something sits between your raw business and your AI. Without it, AI at work is close to useless.

Now, when you wake up in the morning you get the following message
Client X is unhappy because you take over 24 hours to resolve their support tickets. They contribute 20% of your revenue . If you do not fix this today, there is roughly an 80 percent chance they churn. Call them NOW, before anything else.
And if you ignore it, tomorrow’s brief is blunter.
Client X has churned. I told you.
Pretty dramatic, but you get the point.
At Tyms we call this layer - intelligence
Market intelligence
Information from outside your company that matters to you. Not a generic news feed, but the things you care about: the FX rates for the countries you operate in, the shipping rates on your routes. And you decide where it looks. The right source for market info is not the first web search result, but the authoritative one.
Data intelligence
Your own data: transactions, payments, tickets, the tidy structured stuff and the messy unstructured stuff. The layer labels it, links it, and finds the gaps, the duplicates, and the things that do not add up. It is what lets your AI answer a question about your numbers accurately.
Organization intelligence
How the AI comes to understand you specifically: your strategy, your procedures, your lingo. Say churn, and it will know you mean a client who has not transacted in 34 days (I donno why you would have this, but okay :).
Business process intelligence
The work your business does: your SOPs, your business processes. “Reconcile the bank account every day” now gets done every day, without fail. “Find me leads” becomes real, because AI knows what a good lead looks like, where to find it, and where to put it.
Put the four together, and AI is now super powerful for your business.
