Working with Drive
Your workspace's file system — folders, versions, search, trash, and the working folder your assistant saves into.
Drive is where everything you and your assistant produce lives. It works like the file systems you know — folders, sharing, version history — with one difference: your assistant reads from it and writes into it as it works.
Personal and team folders
Drive has two roots:
- Personal — your own space. Only you (and your assistant) see it.
- Team — shared folders for your workspace.
Navigate with breadcrumbs; folders can be nested as deep as you need. You can create, rename, move, reorder, and delete folders.
File actions
Open a file’s action menu for everything you can do with it:
- Open and Download
- Share — see Sharing files
- Rename, Move to, Duplicate
- New folder here
- Details — created and modified dates, location, and current version
- Delete — moves the file to trash
You can also star files you want to keep close, and mark items read (or mark everything read at once).
Version history
Files keep their history. Every saved change — including versions written by your assistant — is listed, so you can see how a document evolved and get back to an earlier state. Versions are visible from the file’s preview and details.
Search
Press Ctrl+K (or ⌘K on a Mac) anywhere to search your files by title.
Trash
Deleted items go to Trash, where you can restore them or delete them forever. Nothing is permanently removed until you say so.
The working folder
Every conversation can be pointed at a working folder — the Drive folder where that conversation’s output files are saved.
- Pick it from the composer; the folder picker is searchable.
- Tyms remembers your last-used folder per workspace, so repeat work lands in the right place automatically.
This is the habit that keeps Drive tidy: one folder per project or client, and each conversation pointed at the right one.
Next steps
- Sharing files — give teammates or outsiders access to a file.
