Billing
Free to start, no card needed. Then you pay only for what you use, across every Tyms product.
Tyms has no plans to pick. Every new organization starts with free usage, and no card is needed. After that you add funds as you go, and pay for what you use, plus a small monthly fee for some products.
How it works
- Start free. Your organization gets free usage when you sign up. Free usage is once per email address.
- Add funds. When you’re ready, the owner or someone with the Billing role chooses Add funds in Billing. You add a card with your first top-up. Open it from the Organization section of home.tyms.ai.
- Use Tyms. Each product draws on the balance as your team uses it. Usage this month shows what’s been spent, and it updates as you go.
Choose Turn on auto top-up so the balance doesn’t run out. When it falls below an amount you choose, we add funds for you. If a payment fails, auto top-up turns off, so check your card.
To cap spending, set a Monthly limit under Spending limits.
What each product charges for
Monthly fees. Some products have a small monthly platform fee. It’s shown in the Switch on dialog before you agree, and platform fees start with your first top-up.
Usage.
| Product | What you pay for |
|---|---|
| Jamaa | The AI work your assistants do, and messages on paid channels. An email costs 2 credits, a WhatsApp message 5, an SMS 10 and a voice message 50. Telegram and Slack messages are free. |
| Intelligence | The work of building your knowledge, such as turning uploaded documents into wiki pages. Intelligence has its own credit pool. |
| Tasks | Tasks created. Each workspace gets 500 a month free, then each task costs $0.01. Moving, completing, commenting and archiving are never charged. |
Using a product from Claude or ChatGPT costs the same as using it in the browser.
AI models
Tyms runs the AI models for you, from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini) and others, so there are no API keys to manage. Admins choose which models are offered. Enterprise customers can also bring their own keys; talk to us.
If the balance runs out
When the balance reaches zero, metered services stop until funds are added. Your files and settings stay as they are.
Who can manage billing
The workspace owner, and anyone with the Billing role, can add funds, set up auto top-up, set spending limits and change payment details. Payments are handled securely by Stripe.
