Billing and models

Add funds, set up auto top-up, follow usage, and choose which AI models your workspace uses.

This page covers the admin controls for billing and models. How Tyms charges, product by product, is explained in Billing.

Billing

Open Billing from the Organization section of home.tyms.ai. Owners and people with the Billing role can open it. A workspace’s billing account starts with its first top-up.

  • Balance — what you have right now.
  • Usage this month — what each product has used so far. It updates as your team uses Tyms.
  • Add funds — a one-time top-up whenever you need it. You add a card with your first one.
  • Auto top-up — keeps the balance from running out. Set When the balance falls below and how much to Add, then Save auto top-up.
  • Spending limits — a Monthly limit, and limits by service.
  • Payment — checkout and payment details are handled securely by Stripe.

If your organization is invoiced instead, usage is billed after the month ends, on your agreed terms, and Billing shows that.

If the balance runs out, your assistants pause their AI work until funds are added.

Choosing your models

Tyms runs the models for you. There are no API keys to create, paste or rotate. Model usage runs on Tyms’s own provider accounts and is paid from your balance.

In Admin, open the Jamaa page. Under AI models, choose which models your teammates can pick:

  • Models from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini) and others are included.
  • Every model is on by default, and new models appear automatically. Turn off any you’d rather your workspace didn’t use.

Turning a model off takes effect immediately. It disappears from everyone’s model picker, and anything still using it is asked to choose another model.

Who can do this

The owner and anyone with the Billing role manage billing. The owner and admins choose models.
