Security and privacy

Tyms is built so your assistants never get more access than the people they work for, and so admins can always see what happened.

Access is personal

• Everyone signs in as themselves, with Google, Microsoft, or a work email and password.
• Connectors use each person’s own account. An admin turns a connector on, and each teammate signs in with their own credentials. An assistant only sees and does what that person can. See Connectors.
• Every assistant signs in as you. When you connect Claude or ChatGPT, you sign in with your Tyms account. Admins can turn off Allow AI assistants to connect at any time, which ends all access within the hour. See Use Tyms from other assistants.
• Data follows workspace membership. In Data Intelligence, every answer respects who is asking.

People stay in control

• Approvals. Read-only actions run freely. Actions that change a record or send a message can wait for the person’s approval. Admins choose which tools need it. See Questions and approvals.
• Assistants answer only their owner. On email and every other channel, an assistant acts only on messages from the person it belongs to.
• Nothing deleted behind your back. In Tasks, an assistant can archive a card only after asking you, and never deletes one.

Everything is visible

• Traces. Every assistant turn in your workspace is recorded: what was asked, the steps taken and what came out. See Traces and evaluations.
• Changes carry a name. Work done by an assistant is recorded under the person’s name and marked with the assistant that did it.
• Version history. Drive keeps every saved change, including your assistant’s.

Models and your data

Tyms runs AI models from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini) and others for you. Admins choose which models are offered under Billing and models. Enterprise and government customers can use their own model keys, or open models running in their own data centre. Talk to us about your requirements.

When you stop using a product

Turning off Organization Intelligence keeps its data for 30 days, and you can restore it within that time.
