Connectors

Let Jamaa work in the tools your team already uses, with each person signing in as themselves.

Connectors link Jamaa to the tools your team already uses, so your assistant can read from them and work in them for you. That includes email, calendar and files (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive), team tools (Slack, Notion, Confluence, Linear), engineering and data tools (GitHub, Supabase, Cloudflare), and anything else with an API or an MCP server.

How connecting works

Connecting takes two steps, on purpose:

  1. An admin turns on a connector for the workspace, from the connector catalogue in the admin area.
  2. Each teammate connects their own account, signing in with their own credentials.

Nobody shares a login. Your assistant acts as you, with your access, so it only sees and does what you could do yourself. Each connector lists the tools it offers and the access it asks for. You can disconnect your account at any time.

Approval policies

For every connector, admins choose which tools your assistants can use freely and which need the person’s approval each time. Read-only tools are approved automatically by default. Actions that change something in another system can be held for an approval in the chat.

Connectors, apps and channels

  • Connectors are tools outside Tyms that Jamaa works in.
  • Apps are Tyms products, like Tasks, that Jamaa can open in the chat.
  • Channels are the places you talk to Jamaa, like email or WhatsApp.
