Connect ChatGPT

Add a Tyms product to ChatGPT as a custom connector. For Tasks, the address is https://tasks.tyms.ai/mcp. For Data Intelligence, it’s your workspace’s own address, https://<your-workspace>.data.tyms.ai/mcp.

Custom connectors need a paid ChatGPT plan. On ChatGPT Business and Enterprise, a workspace admin turns on Developer mode and publishes the connector first.

Connect

1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
2. Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create. Name it, for example Tyms Tasks or Tyms Data, paste the address and choose OAuth.
3. Sign in with your Tyms account and choose your workspace.
4. In a chat, add the connector from the tools menu.

Try asking

• "Write my standup from what I finished yesterday and what’s due today."
• "Look at the Marketing board and tell me what’s overdue or unassigned."

In ChatGPT, boards, cards and My tasks open as interactive views in the chat.

Troubleshooting

• "AI assistants are turned off for this workspace." An owner or admin has turned off Allow AI assistants to connect. Ask them to turn it back on.
• Tasks is switched off, or no workspace is offered. An owner or admin can switch Tasks on for free at tasks.tyms.ai.
• A step doesn’t match what you see. ChatGPT’s menus change from time to time. Look for "connectors" or "apps" in its settings.
