Jamaa settings

This page covers the settings that shape Jamaa for your whole organization. Owners and admins find them on admin.tyms.ai: open Admin from home.tyms.ai, then the Jamaa page. Formats have their own Formats page.

Organization

Organization profile is a free-text description of your company, up to 8,000 characters. It’s added to every assistant’s instructions, so write what a new colleague would need to know: what you do, who your customers are, and how you talk about yourselves.

Instructions

Assistant instructions are standing rules for every assistant, such as "Write in British English" or "Always cite the source document."

Brand

Brand changes how Jamaa looks to your team: the app’s frame, the sign-in screens and the browser tab.

• Logo: a PNG, scaled to 512px. It saves straight away.
• Site name: the name Jamaa shows. Your workspace’s own name is under Settings.
• Accent color: Default, Blue, Green, Purple, Pink, Teal, or a hex value.

Notices

Show your team a message across Jamaa: a Top-bar notice, or a Banner in Neutral, Info, Success, Warning, Danger or Brand color.

Skills

Skills lists the skills your assistants can use, each with an Offer /name switch. Skills come from SKILL.md files in shared Knowledge folders, and new ones are on until you switch them off.

Under Skill marketplace, choose Install to add a ready-made skill. It arrives as a shared Knowledge folder.

AI models

AI models lists the models everyone can pick, from Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini) and others. Each one is offered by default, and new models in Jamaa’s catalog are offered until you switch them off. Choose Save: Jamaa picks up the change within a minute. Anyone using a model you switch off is moved to another model automatically.

Formats

On the Formats page, choose the templates people are offered by name wherever they start something. Standard formats come with Jamaa. To offer one of your own, feature it from its page in Jamaa first, then add it under Offer a template. What people will see previews the list.
