Roles and permissions
Who can do what across Tyms: workspace roles, and the roles inside each product.
Tyms has roles at two levels: your workspace, which decides who manages people, products and billing, and inside each product, which decides who sees and changes what.
Workspace roles
Set under Admin → Teammates. See Inviting your team.

The person who created the workspace is the Owner. The Owner role can’t be given to someone else from Teammates.
Assistants
Claude, ChatGPT and Jamaa never get more access than the person they act for. They sign in as that person, and admins can switch outside assistants off at any time. See Use Tyms from your assistant.
Jamaa workspaces
Set when you share a workspace.

Data Intelligence connections
Set on each connection. Org admins are admins of every connection.

Only org admins can add connections. Assistants never get admin rights.
Organization Intelligence
Wiki admins and approvers approve documents and publish pages. Verify page is for admins. Members search and read.
Tasks boards

On each board, Admin members can change Board settings: members and labels. Workspace owners and admins see every board.
Operational Intelligence approvals
Anyone with an approval link can choose Approve, Send my edit or Reject, without a Tyms account. They’re asked for their name or email, and the link expires after a set number of hours.
