Billing, credits, and models

Manage your plan, payment details, credit balances, and which AI models your workspace uses.

Everything money-related lives in Admin → Billing and usage. The basics — starting free, how to upgrade — are in Plans and billing; this page covers the admin controls.

Billing and usage

The Billing and usage section is the home of your subscription:

  • Plan — see your current plan and renewal date, and change plans. Billing is monthly or annual.
  • Teammates and assistants — how many you’re using against your plan’s limit.
  • Credits — your AI and channel messaging balances, with usage for the current period.
  • Payment — checkout and payment details are handled securely by Stripe.
  • Downgrade — move to a smaller plan or back to free; the change applies immediately and your credit allowances adjust to the new plan.

Credits

Paid plans include a monthly AI credit allowance, spent as your teammates and assistants do work, and a channel messaging allowance for conversations over your connected channels. An email costs 2 credits, a WhatsApp message 5, an SMS 10, and a voice message 50; Telegram and Slack messages are free.

  • Balances — what you have right now, and how it’s been spent this period.
  • Top up — one-time credit purchases when you need more. Top-ups never expire.

If AI credits hit zero, assistants pause AI work until you top up or the next allowance arrives.

Choosing your models

Tyms runs the models for you. There are no API keys to create, paste, or rotate: model usage runs on Tyms’s own provider accounts and draws on your plan’s AI credits.

Under Admin → AI models you choose which models your teammates can pick:

  • Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and Workers AI models are included.
  • Every model is on by default, and new models we add appear automatically. Turn off any you’d rather your workspace didn’t use.

Turning a model off takes effect immediately: it leaves everyone’s model picker, and anything still pointing at it is asked to choose another model.

Who can do this

Only workspace owners and admins can change plans, manage payment, or choose models.
