Billing, credits, and API keys

Everything money-related lives in the Billing & Usage group of the admin area. The basics — what’s free, how to upgrade — are in Plans and billing; this page covers the admin controls.

Hosting

The Hosting hub is the home of your subscription:

• Plan & usage — see your current plan and usage, and change plans. Billing is monthly or annual (annual saves 15%).
• Payment method and billing details — manage how you pay. Checkout is handled securely by Stripe.
• Cancel — end your subscription; your plan stays active until the close of the current billing period.

Credits

Some usage is measured in credits, managed from Admin → Credits:

• Balance — what you have right now.
• Top up — one-time purchases when you need more.
• Auto-refill — set a threshold and a refill amount so long-running work never stalls on an empty balance.
• Receipts — a record of your credit purchases.

Bring your own API keys

If your organization has direct accounts with AI model providers, add your keys under Hosting → API keys. Tyms supports:

• Anthropic (Claude)
• OpenAI
• Google (Gemini)

With your own keys, model usage runs through your provider account. Without them, Tyms’s managed keys cover you.

Who can do this

Only workspace owners and admins can change plans, manage payment, or add API keys.
