Workspaces, Outputs and Knowledge
How Jamaa organizes your work: workspaces for each piece of work, Outputs for what Jamaa makes, and Knowledge for what it should know.
This page explains where things live in Jamaa. The sidebar has Home, Outputs, Knowledge, Apps, Favorites and Recent workspaces.
Workspaces
In Jamaa, a workspace is one piece of work: a project, a report or an ongoing task. It holds the chat with your assistant, the files and apps made in it, and the people you’ve shared it with.
- Start one by typing a request on Home. Each new conversation starts its own workspace.
- Come back to one from Recent workspaces in the sidebar, or add it to Favorites.
- Share one with teammates. See Sharing a workspace.
Outputs
Outputs lists the files your assistant has made, across every workspace: documents, spreadsheets, decks and more.
- Filter by Yours and shared, Created by you or Shared with you, or use Search files….
- On a file, choose Open, Open workspace to go back to where it was made, Rename, or Hide from list.
- Delete removes a file for good. There’s no trash, so hide a file if you might want it later.
Knowledge
Knowledge holds shared folders of material your assistant should know about, such as policies, product sheets or templates. Your admin can also add skills here, and installs from the skill marketplace arrive as Knowledge folders. See Jamaa settings.
For verified company answers, with sources and a person approving them, use Organization Intelligence.
Apps
Apps shows apps you can start from, under Featured, and your own under Your templates. See Apps and templates.
